Danziger Studio conversion

The program called for the conversion of the original Danziger Studio designed by the partnership of Frank O. Gehry, FAIA and Gregory Walsh, FAIA in 1965 into a Joint Living and Work Quarters (Artist-in-Residence) for a couple with a young son. The conversion and renovation transformed two existing offices into bedrooms, gutted and replaced the existing bath and closet area, preserved and renovated the existing kitchen with disabled access upgrades, enlarged and reworked the existing front courtyard while preserving an existing Crape Myrtle tree, created a motor court at the rear and renovated or upgraded many other original features.
