The program for this 1,750 square foot residence with two car attached garage situated on a steeply sloping lot called for 3 bedrooms with baths, living and dining areas and kitchen on a minimal budget. The solution employs caissons and grade beams for the foundation system to minimize grading operations, thus costs and uses simple architectural forms enriched by designing with an additive process. The result efficiently accommodates the program providing generous light, air and views.
