The program for this 3,400 square foot residence called for the substantial reconstruction of an existing nondescript 1950s tract house with attached garage with the addition of a 1,200 square foot master bedroom suite, guest room and a den. The solution reused the entire existing structure reconfiguring the mass with the added programmatic elements.
