Casa do Zeca, Morumbi, São Paulo Brazil
designed in 1993 in collaboration with José C. Revoredo Barros Arquiteto, Revoredo Arquitectura, São Paulo Brazil
construction completed in 1999
This residence was designed as a feasibility study for the suitability of a steeply down sloping lot situated across a valley from a tract of land protected from future development. The program called for a 350 square meter residence with 5 bedrooms with baths, living, dining, and recreation areas, kitchen, a maid’s quarters, swimming pool, studio, motor court and a four car garage. The solution employs a series of terraced, independent pavilions with open courtyards threaded together by a dominant circulation path.
